Hello!
Hope everyone is doing well! So, from the last time I posted, a lot has happened! My sister is doing well (She’s the one expecting any day now!) she’s almost done working now and she’s getting sooo big, it’s adorable!
Â
I have one word….PACKERS!! I can’t believe how well they are doing! I’ve been a die hard packer fan since I could walk and it’s amazing that they are doing so well, especially with Brett Favre. Just to let you all know, Brett Favre is my husband, I know everyone says that but REALLY, he’s my husband:) hehe. But seriously, 8-1 that’s amazing and the last time they were 8-1 was when they won the superbowl, it’s looking promising!!
Â
Last weekend was awesome, my boyfriend and I went to my parents house and we made home made pizza’s. When I was younger my whole family would get together at my grandma’s house to make pizza’s and I always had so much fun. It was just the four of us this time and it was great, not to mention the pizza’s were amazing! I love doing stuff like that, spending time with family making food, I guess that’s the Sicilian in me talking
.
Â
I’ve got some busy times coming up soon, but I’ll keep you all posted! My sister’s babyshower (yes, another one!) is coming up this Sunday, and then it’s time for Thanksgiving, woooo hooo! Hope everyone is doing fabulous and I’ll speak to you all soon!!

Hello All! So, I’m not sure if you guys have seen it yet, but Stritch just put out a new commercial and let me tell you, it’s awesome! It’s very simple, no speaking with very nice music. It basically has everything stritch stands for: friendship, diversity, knowledge, etc. It aired last night during Heroes on NBC, it was so cool seeing all the people I go to school with and I have to admit it was pretty cool seeing myself, hehe! So, you guys should definitely keep your eyes out for it!
Â
Other than the awesome commercial…my sister is still pregnant! She’s getting so big now and it’s soo cute
She’s about 7 months, still due on Christmas Eve but it seems like she’ll have him (yes, it’s a boy!) early, which is great!!
School has been so stressful lately, we only have a month or so left but it seems like soooo far away! I can’t wait for Thanksgiving, it will be a much needed break! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life!
If you’ve seen the commercial, leave me a comment and let me know what you think of it!

Hello Guys! Okk so I have some exciting news! I’m going to be an Aunt in December
I totally forgot to tell you! My sister and her husband are expecting a baby boy, she is due on Christmas Eve! These last few weeks have been so hectic….we had her first baby shower which was an experience in itself! I definitely realized how much I DONT know about having a baby…like a diaper genie…WHAT is that?? Haha, but it was wonderful, my sister is getting so big and she looks so cute with a little bump like she has
This coming up Saturday we have ANOTHER shower down in Lake Geneva and it’s with all my brother-in-laws family, so my sister says I HAVE to go to be her moral support, lol. Finally, in November my mom and I are throwing an all girls shower which will be so much fun, it’s a duck theme.
I’ve been so consumed with school and work lately but when I think about it I get soo excited that come December, I’ll have a nephew! Well, once all the baby showers are over, I willl post pictures of my cute sister!
Until then, take care!

This past weekend was great! I worked a lot and finished a lot of my homework, but I also got to spend time with my family and a few close friends. On Friday Rob and I went out to lunch, which was great because we hardly ever get to spend quality time together, we are both sooo busy! On Saturday I watched his soccer game and got to hang out w/ my friends Kayleigh and Sam, those two are such sweethearts and I’m so glad I’m friends w/ them! I had a hard time w/ friends in high school but it seems like ever since I came to college I’ve met some of the most wonderful people, and I truly feel like I will keep them in life for a long, long time! We have so much fun together no matter what we do, whether were in school or at a brewer game (which was awesome even though they lost). True friends are hard to find but when you find them you know they are really something special…love you guys!!
Â
I had a soccer game for my women’s club team this past weekend…I LOVE playing with them! We won 3-1 against a team that is probably our biggest rival, so it was great coming out w/ a win! Well, it’s back to school and I think this week is going to be my busiest yet, but I’m ready for it and love that it’s looking more like Fall each day
Â
Here are some pictures to see, enjoy!!

Hello everyone
So, this week has been pretty good! Classes were good, I had my first lab in Chemistry and did really well! That class is actually pretty interesting, it’s learning all about the chemicals in everyday products. Aside from that, I had my first paper due in my comm research class, it feels good to have that done! On Wednesday it was my mom’s birthday and we went out to eat at a place called the Wicked Hop in Milwaukee’s Third Ward. It was nice to be with my parents and Rob for a night, although the food wasn’t that good! That night I actually got sick, I have a pretty bad sinus infection that isn’t going anywhere any time soon! On the bright side…I absolutley LOVE this weather we’ve been having lately! Fall is my favorite time of the year, I love wearing sweaters and the crisp air makes me want to play soccer everyday. Tomorrow I’m going to the Cedarburg Festival with my parents, it’ll be a good day! I have some cute pictures that I have to upload, but once I do you guys can see them! Hope everyone has a nice, relaxing weekend!

Hello Everyone! Gosh…it seems like forever since I’ve written on here, yet summer seems to have come and gone so quickly! I’ll pick up where I left off last year…my birthday was on May 16th, I turned 21 and my boyfriend surprised me by flying his whole family out here (they are from England by the way!!) to help me celebrate…it was the best present EVER!
After the shock of my birthday was over, I started work here at school. I interned in the Admissions Office here at Stritch and had a really great time!! I went to various college fairs, where we meet with seniors in high school and tell them a bit about Stritch/College life. I also worked in Recruitment Marketing and helped on some catalogs, and photo shoots which was great as well!!
In between working, soccer, and sleeping, I had many fun times w/ my family, friends and Rob. Now that were back at school I am doing so much and really looking forward to this semester!
Hope everyone had a rockin’ summer, I will post more in the upcoming days!!

Until then,

So, I am the new publicity coordinator for RHA (Residence Hall Association)! I’m super excited I got this position, and I can’t wait to see all the new things that I’ll learn! We have a transition retreat this Thursday, where the new exec committee will receive things from the old exec committee about our positions like what to expect. It’s so funny, because when I was in high school I was never really involved with anything; I’d go to school and come home and that was basically the extent of my involvement. Here at Stritch, I’m finishing up my third year and I’ve done a complete 360 since high school. I love being involved w/ extra curriculars here, meeting new people, learning new things and having a great time. That’s the one piece of advice I’d give to my readers who are in high school deciding if college is right for them…give it a chance, you can totally find yourself through a great college experience…I’m living proof! See ya!

A couple of weeks ago, stritch was the host for the National Futsal Tournement. Teams from all over the country came to participate, for those of you who may not know what futsal is, it’s basically indoor soccer w/ slightly different rules and you play 5 on the field. We played it in the gym/fieldhouse here at stritch and it was a very good tournement! The girls played Calumet, Trinity Christian and Viterbo in regulation and went 1-2 and then we advanced to the semi’s but lost to Trinity Christian. The girls did really well and I posted some pictures for you guys to check out. They are somewhat blurry but hey that’s sports action for ya! The Stritch men went 3-0 in regulation, playing some really good teams, won in the semis against SCAD and then advanced to the final where they lost in penalty kicks. Overall it was a great tournement and I think both of our teams are going to be very strong in this upcoming season! For those of you who may want to come check out the soccer teams in action, our season is in the fall and we have all of our home games at Uihlein Soccer Park, either on the main championship field or right next to it on the Pat Jones Championship Field. If interested, you can find the schedule for both mens and womens games on our website at http://www.stritch.edu/index.php?page=150.
